The "Pursuit of Lean Endless" Changzhou Dengfeng Electric Co., Ltd. Lean VSM Value Stream Improvement Activity Begins

Lean is a systematic concept and method of identifying and eliminating waste, speeding up processes and increasing stakeholder value by eliminating non-value-added activities.
1. Lean improvement goals
In 2022, Changzhou Dengfeng Electric Co., Ltd. officially became the core supplier of Gujia Home, and in March, he was invited to participate in the "2nd Core Supplier Value Flow Improvement Kick-off Conference of Gujia Home Furnishing 2022", General Manager Pan Deng, together with our manufacturing center director Zhang Hao, technical quality center director Yuan Mingdong, marketing center director Hua Feng, procurement center director Fu Desheng attended the meeting and conducted a three-day study.
Gujia Home Furnishing and our company signed a value stream improvement agreement at the event site, and determined the value stream improvement goals: improve production efficiency, improve raw material inventory turnover, optimize production cycle, and save cost.
2. DAY 1 Lean Improvement Kick-off Meeting
On May 25, Changzhou Dengfeng Electric Co., Ltd. 2022 Lean Improvement Week was officially launched, and General Manager Pan Deng's mobilization and announcement of the start of the Lean Kaizen team members.
After the kick-off meeting, Mr. Li Zhankai, the specially invited instructor of this event, conducted a full-day basic training on "Lean Introduction + VSM Value Stream" to help all participating employees enhance their lean improvement awareness and concept, and establish the basic theoretical knowledge framework of lean improvement.
3. DAY 2 Value stream learning & field data collection

On the morning of May 26th, after learning the basic points and drawing principles of value streams, all lean team members began to conduct on-site simulation analysis and drawing, and the site was divided into 4 teams, and each team divided labor and cooperated to analyze data and draw value stream maps for case companies.

After the simulation analysis, officially entered the current situation discussion and analysis stage of our company, according to the product model and their respective work responsibilities, all members were regrouped, and the four groups used the afternoon time to collect data and on-site analysis of horizontal push, direct push, motor, raw material semi-finished products and finished products.
