The Road to Continuous Lean Improvement through Cohesion, Unity, and Joint Development

The past can be summed up, the future can be expected, and the present must be seriously implemented. Improvement is not achieved overnight, but gradually, phased summary and prospects, in order to better promote the lean improvement process.
01 Gather forces and seek common development
On September 20, 2022, Gujia Home Furnishing held the second core supplier value stream improvement mid-term review meeting in Xiasha factory, as a member of the fourth Taishan class, our general manager Pan Deng, together with the heads of marketing department, technology department, manufacturing department and engineering department, went to participate in this activity to report and summarize our lean improvement work from June to September.
02 Value stream improvement mid-term review
During the mid-term review meeting, Zhang Hao, director of our manufacturing center, introduced the company's basic situation, products and production process to other members of Taishan class, and at the same time, under the guidance of Mr. Yu, conducted a comprehensive review of our lean production progress, mainly focusing on four aspects: goal review, strategy evaluation, process reflection and law summary.
The mid-term review meeting is not only a review of the lean improvement progress and process of your own company, but also a good communication and learning opportunity. Through this exchange meeting, we learned about the production process and manufacturing process of other different industries and products, learned the highlight practices of other companies in the process of lean improvement, and provided new ideas and methods for our company's subsequent lean improvement work.
03 Self-examination and self-examination Summarize and reflect
On the basis of participating in the Gujia mid-term exchange meeting and training and learning, our company held an internal lean improvement mid-term summary meeting on September 27, mainly sorted out the difficulties and problems encountered by each project team in the process of project promotion, and will conduct targeted discussions on these problems and confirm solutions in the follow-up work.
Lean improves epiphany
Our lean improvement journey began in June 2022, and in the past four months of improvement, the members of the lean improvement team have learned a lot:
Lean is a journey that has only a beginning and no end, and improvement does not happen overnight, but gradually
Layout optimization can quickly realize the improvement benefits, and scientific production line design and reasonable layout need to borrow IE technology and lean thinking
Fully mobilize the ability of engineers, give full play to the awareness of independent improvement, and independently manufacture a number of equipment and tooling, which can save more costs
In the follow-up work, all members of the lean improvement team will still uphold the original intention, fully cooperate with the company's improvement work, actively promote the improvement process, and strive to achieve outstanding results at the end of the year.
