Improve retrospectives
From the turn of spring and summer to autumn and winter, the lean production improvement activities that lasted for more than 5 months were in full swing in the company, and on November 22, 2022, with the arrival of the light snow solar term, the "Changzhou Dengfeng Electric Co., Ltd. 2022 Lean Value Flow Improvement Final Summary Meeting" was held as scheduled. Lean production instructors Yu Weihui and Li Zhankai, Gujia representative Sun Xuexue, and members of our lean improvement project team attended the summary meeting.
In March, our company was invited to participate in the "2nd Core Supplier Value Stream Improvement Kick-off Conference of Gujia Home Furnishing 2022" and signed a value stream improvement agreement on site, identifying four main improvement goals: improving production efficiency, improving raw material inventory turnover, optimizing production cycle, and saving costs. In the lean improvement start week, all departments coordinated and cooperated, conducted a comprehensive analysis of our current situation from the three major directions of processing flow, material flow and information flow, and put forward corresponding improvement proposals and improvement measures.

Summary debriefing
In the early stage of lean improvement, 13 project teams were set up, which were respectively cut from 13 topics such as motor workshop efficiency improvement, push workshop efficiency improvement, metalworking workshop efficiency improvement, electronic workshop efficiency improvement, planning optimization, overall layout optimization, warehouse management optimization, procurement management optimization, marketing management optimization, technical management optimization, inventory control, delivery locking, and system optimization, and carefully divided and clarified the tasks and goals of each group under the guidance of the teacher.

This final summary meeting is also an internal exchange meeting, where the leaders of each project team report on the topics they are responsible for in turn, show the improvement results of each team, and also summarize the shortcomings in their respective improvement work and determine the direction of subsequent improvement.

Lean Awards
Lean Project Closing Award: The Lean Promotion Office evaluated the completion progress and completion of each project, determined the award amount of each project team, and awarded Pan Deng, the general manager. Rewards are not a formality, but recognition of the work of each project team and all employees, but also an incentive for subsequent improvement work.
Improvement Leader & Outstanding Contribution Award: Throughout the lean improvement cycle, each team leader will vote for a "Improvement Leader" every month to reward the improvement team members who actively cooperate in the improvement work. The winners of the improvement experts were: Sun Junling of the Manufacturing Department in June, Hou Qingliang of the Technology Department in July, Yang Xuefeng of the Warehouse in August, Li Jin of the Technology Department in September, and Wang Yiyong of IT in October, and the "Outstanding Contribution Award" was selected in the early stage of the summary meeting, and the winner was Qiu Huixia, the leader of the lean office.
Independent Innovation Award: In the process of lean improvement this year, all participants, especially the company's leaders, have a feeling, fully mobilize the ability of engineers, give full play to the awareness of independent improvement, and independently manufacture a number of equipment and tooling, which can save more costs, and self-made various types of equipment is also a highlight of the company's lean improvement work. Therefore, General Manager Pan Deng, specially added the "Independent Innovation Award" to show encouragement, and Hou Qingliang, the head of the process department, received the award on behalf of him.

Concluding remarks
After the award ceremony, Sun Xuexue, the representative of the Gu family, and Yu Weihui, the lean production tutor, commented on our company's lean production work this year, and the two affirmed the work of each project team and put forward suggestions for the subsequent lean improvement work.

Lean is a journey that has only a beginning and no end, and improvement does not happen overnight, but gradually. This lean improvement terminal summary does not mean the end of the company's lean improvement journey, but means the beginning of the next improvement journey, all improvement team members will continue to work hard, face up to the shortcomings, give full play to their strengths, and strive to achieve better results in the subsequent improvement work.
